Shipment

We ship throughout the United States via the United States Postal Service Priority Mail. You will be charged actual shipping/handling charges. If you order multiple items the actual cost of shipping per item is most often less, excluding orders for large vases. The shipping/handling costs are shown upon checkout. All of our shipping/handling charges include insurance for the full value of each item. We will ship your order within three business days of receipt of your order. If an item is not in stock, we will notify you of any shipping delays.

Sales Taxes

Since we are located in St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and one of the world´s most well-known duty-free ports, there are no sales taxes on items purchased through Laska Bohemian Wares.

Return Policy

If you are dissatisfied with any purchase, you may simply return the item in its original condition within ten (10) days after receipt. A full refund less fifteen percent (15%) of the purchase price as a restocking charge will be credited to you account only WHEN WE HAVE RECEIVED THE RETURNED MERCHANDISE IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION. Laska Bohemian Wares is not responsible for postage on return merchandise.

To Return:

  1. Please email us to let us know that you will be returning merchandise and send us the tracking number.
  2. PLEASE BE SURE TO INSURE YOUR RETURN SHIPMENT and be sure that it is properly packaged. Since these are glass items, proper caution must be taken in packaging. Please note how your purchase is packaged when you receive it and return the item with the same care in packaging. We package our merchandise based on our experience with parcel carriers and consistent with their handling requirements. As stated above, we will refund the cost of the item less 15% restocking charge only upon our receipt of the merchandise in its original condition.
  3. Keep our receipt as well as your return shipping and insurance receipts because if the merchandise is lost or broken in return shipment, you must file the claim as the legal owner of the merchandise and as the shipper. The claim will be paid directly to you by your shipper.

Damage Policy

We will replace at no additional cost any damaged merchandise upon full compliance with the procedures listed below.

We are very careful in packaging our merchandise and take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. Every package leaves our hands packaged to our Carrier´s specifications and based upon our experience with our Carrier. If you suspect upon delivery that your glassware is damaged, DO NOT ACCEPT IT FROM THE CARRIER. The following is required on all websites that ship with major carriers, ´SHOULD YOU THINK OR SUSPECT THAT YOUR GLASSWARE IS DAMAGED- DO NOT ACCEPT IT FROM THE CARRIER.´ Contact the carrier immediately upon refusal of the package and make sure you get a claim number from the carrier. Please contact us immediately with that claim number.

If you have accepted your package, please open the package upon receipt and immediately inspect the contents. If upon inspection you see that, despite our best efforts in packaging, your order has arrived damaged, we ask that you please follow the instructions outlined below:

  1. Keep the damaged items and all the packaging materials inside the same box in which they were shipped. This is required by our Carrier to meet their Claim Procedures.
  2. Bring this original package with all the damaged contents and original packaging material to your local U.S. Post Office to file a claim. The Post Office will give you a claim form to fill out, please fill out Section 13 of the form. The Post Office will then send the claim to us so we may fill out our Section of the form. The Post Office will keep only the damaged items. We will send your replacement merchandise at no charge as soon as we have received the claim form with Section 13 completed by the original addressee.
  3. Please notify us within 48 hours of receipt of any damaged merchandise. We can be reached at info@laskaglass.com. When notifying us, please give us your confirmation number as emailed to you upon purchase, your full name, address, phone number and the U.S. Post Office CLAIM NUMBER so we can ship you a replacement.
